The 2024 WPT Prime Championship The $1,100 buy-in, $5,000,000 GTD WPT Prime Championship will take place from December 8-14 at Wynn Las Vegas as part of the WPT World Championship Festival, which runs from December 3-23. Last year, Calvin Anderson won the 2023 WPT Prime Championship, topping a record field of 10,512 players and taking home $1,386,280. The WPT Prime series has been incredibly successful, winning the Global Poker Award for Best Mid-Major Tour/Circuit.

The first of two starting flights in the 2024 World Poker Tour (WPT) Seminole Rock ‘n’ Roll Open in South Florida concluded with 238 players remaining, led by Frank Stepuchin, who is eyeing his second WPT title as “Frank the Tank.” Day 1a of the $3 million guaranteed event at Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood attracted 696 players, including a mix of local talent and well-known names from across the country.
